ICN Supports EQ United

Volunteer Information Info meeting set for 1/21/2026

ICN is proud to continue our partnership with EQJOY on an exciting new initiative, EQ United — a grassroots movement designed to strengthen children’s mental health across the U.S.

Building on the research ICN has supported in collaboration with The Art and Science of Joy, EQ United will also help communities across the U.S. cultivate more joy and well-being.

Together, ICN and EQJOY would like to offer you, as an ICN member, the opportunity to volunteer on EQ United and help strengthen children’s mental health in your community — while also supporting family wellbeing and joy along the way.

Specifically, we invite you to help bring an EQNITE pop-up gathering to your community. The objective of an EQNITE gathering is to bring together people who care about children’s mental health for an evening of inspiration, connection, and local impact — centered on emotional intelligence, storytelling, and joy.

Each EQNITE gathering has a consistent core format, while still reflecting the needs of the local community and the strengths of the volunteer team.

Volunteer roles are flexible and agreed on individually. In general, volunteers help plan the gathering, build local connections, raise awareness and invite attendees, and support event-night execution. No one is expected to do everything — responsibilities are shared across the team.
