Update September 20, 2025
The demand for support from insights professionals looking for or affected by change continues to grow, curiously, right along with AI adoption. The Insights Career Network has had a front row seat from which we have been conducting original research on research on the hiring process and the emotions that come along with layoffs and searching for work.
In three short years, the Insights Career Network has become a leading source for news and information affecting the careers of market researchers, user experience researchers, and all types of insights professionals. The ICN’s LinkedIn channel delivers hundreds of insights and strategic jobs each month, each identified by ICNers, who constantly search for insights dream jobs and companies that need a hand with research and insights.

Who is the Insights Career Network?
Get to know our Members
The LinkedIn channel is so productive, members have exclaimed that the feed gives them hope by helping them find opportunities and companies in places they didn’t know existed.
Together, we have built a community of more than 27,000 LinkedIn followers and 3,024 members who connect and inform more than 100 Seekers & Allies every couple of Mondays in the most supportive of all recurring career community events.
Most of our 80 engaging meetups have been saved and offered for insights professionals in need on our website, where you will find two of our most significant programs connecting Active Insights Job Seekers and Insights Job Referrals from real people.
The Active Insights Job Seekers list includes more than 250 insights professionals who are ready to research, and each candidate has provided more than 21 points of information about their research experience. The list is free to access, free to download, and free to join.
The Insights Job Referral List has been a trusted source of real job recommendations, referrals, and tips from the start. Each job is listed by someone 1-2 degrees away from the team or hiring manager. Most referral list job listing agents rave about this free list, and it continues to be the #1 stop for many job seekers.
We see the value in amplifying the work, voices, concerns, and journeys of individual research and insights professionals across the spectrum of exploration. This year, ICN authors have published six thought leadership articles in Greenbook and two in Quirk’s, and our own 2025 ICN Census Report.
All of this incredible progress has shown us that the Insights community is made up of people who want to help each other. It’s a good thing, too. Our empathetic, curious, and intelligent research and insights professionals have been getting crushed for years and need accessible support options to help them rebuild for AI. New professionals coming online in most of the last five years have found scorched ground and uncertainty.

No donation is too small and very few will be too large.
