The next ICN speaker, scheduled for August 17, is Steve Levine. He will share his collaboration with the Accessibility Insights Consortium (AIC) and help us understand how we can make our research more accessible and inclusive.

The Accessible Insights Consortium (AIC) is a collaborative group of market research and user experience (UX) professionals dedicated to making consumer and market research fully inclusive of people with disabilities.
Formed in 2022, the coalition brings together experts from across the industry, including client-side companies, research suppliers, and panel vendors. In 2024, the AIC formally merged with the Insights Association IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Access) Council to unify and scale its impact.
The AIC was formed in 2022 and is composed of experts from such organizations as Buzzback, Voya Financial, Understood, Smarty Pants, IPSOS, KNow Research, Tamman Inc., Nissan, Verizon, NRG, Fandom, Material+, Purina, and Decision Analyst.
The AIC meets regularly to educate, share, collaborate, and build community on the principles of inclusion and accessibility for all.
AIC Goals:
– Ensure people with disabilities have a voice in research
– Partner with platform providers to evolve research tool accessibility
– Evolve a set of disability-inclusive research recommendations
– Create dialogue and spread awareness within the research community
The best thing about the AIC is their FREE toolkit, available to any researcher wanting to make reports, research, and surveys more accessible and inclusive.
Our Director of Learning and Research, Dr. Lori Walker, is also involved in the AIC and contributed to the best practices for qualitative research in the toolkit.
AIC sessions are open to anyone! Read more and add quarterly AIC meetings to your calendar.
