Career transitions can be scary and lonely. The good news is that you are not alone; relevant help through “Insights Allies” is all around us. Through the ICN, Insights Allies volunteer to support people in transition in small groups, lead career-building Insights workshops, work 1:1 with those in transition, and show up at ICN meetups and breakout sessions when they can.
There is no better source for real, lasting, relevant, practical personal career assistance than people in your profession who volunteer to help others.
Do you need to be experienced or employed to be an Insights Ally?
Absolutely not! All levels of experience and employment are welcome at the ICN. It’s the person and their motivations that interest us!
Are you ready to commit to a project or volunteer leadership position with the ICN?
August 2, 2026 Update: We don’t always have opportunities for you to apply for, but currently, we have two roles we are recruiting for:
- Insights Career Workshops Director: Join our Member Services team as the lead organizer of our NEW Insights Career workshop series, which focuses on providing direct upskilling and development in manageable and affordable bites.
- 2027 Seekers & Allies Program Director. In March of next year, the ICN will complete 5 years of providing independent and engaging community events serving thousands of insights professionals. The Learning & Research team is looking for their next Program Director to recruit speakers and topics for our next season of programming.
