New Free AI Career Strategist Introduced to ICN

Bob Goodwin’s AI career strategist is ready to take you from struggle to success.

In 2021, after decades as a career business developer working with major brands and insights agencies and coaching their staff, Bob Goodwin founded Career Club, a service designed to help job seekers in career transition secure better jobs faster by applying B2B sales, marketing strategies, and CRM networking tools to the job search and hiring process.

The ICN started up the following year, and he has been a supporter of our community from the start with meetups, utilities, and his successful coaching series, now available in book form: Making Your Own Weather: Taking Control of Your Job Search.

His latest release, Reimagine, an AI career strategist that helps you go from stressed to success with the help of AI, is now available to ICN members at no charge.

Reimagine is an AI career strategist from Bob Goodwin at Career Club, built on the method in his book Making Your Own Weather and made for midcareer and senior professionals who need more than a resume refresh. It starts with your personal brand, the through-line that ties a varied background together and shows where it applies next. From there it goes two ways:

  • If you’re still figuring out where you fit. Reimagine maps three directions: roles where your track record speaks immediately, roles where your industry knowledge is the advantage, and roles where your values lead. Pick one and it builds out the whole pursuit, including your story, interview prep, a rebuilt resume and LinkedIn, and live company research with decision-makers and outreach written for them.
  • If you already have a job description in hand. Paste the posting into the opportunity module and you get a plan for that exact role: how you fit, your positioning, a cover letter, interview prep, and when the offer comes, a negotiation analysis with sourced market data, what to ask for, and the words to say it in.

My Coach comes along for every piece of it. It’s a coach who already knows you, your background, your stories, the offer sitting in your inbox, so you’re never starting from scratch. Ask it how to open a call, whether your story lands, how to handle a counteroffer, at whatever hour the question shows up. It works from your actual situation, and it points you to the right next step when there is one.
