Where The Insights Career Network Stands

Insights Career Network (ICN) was created in 2022 when six industry practitioners rallied to build a dedicated support community for insights professionals. Thanks to enthusiastic backing across market research, UX, and analytics—alongside vital micro-donations from our community—we earned 501(c)(3) status in January 2026. Today, we are professionalizing our operations and refining our strategic goals to help us meet the need now and tomorrow.

The 37k-strong ICN network is global, but current resources require that we focus ICN programs on our home market of North America. We are developing new partnerships with experts all over the world, because we know that the need for community and connectivity in Insights is universal.

The Insights Career Network (ICN) supports insights professionals across all career stages, from entry-level practitioners to team leads, founders, and consultants. Powered by transparent original research on the insights labor market and free, open-access resources, we facilitate peer connections, continuous upskilling, and practical career navigation to help professionals build resilient, lifelong careers and organizations find the talent needed for the future.
